Guided Lecture Tour with Dr. Martha Fielder

 

Sunday December 4, Early Afternoon, Time to be announced upon registration

There will be a guided lecture tour with Dr. Fielder with limited participation. We want a small group so as to discourage hangers-on. This is the most important exhibition on Degas in thirty years. It is absolutely huge with approximately 230 paintings. Generally, one thinks of Degas as a painter of ballet scenes. Indeed, that theme is covered, but so are all of the other aspects of his varied career from portraiture to sports to evening activities, and the like. Join us for an in depth tour of the exhibit. The Museum of Fine Arts Houston is the only American venue for this stellar show.

The price of the admission ticket is not included. Prices are based on a minimum of eight participants and are subject to change.

Tour length: Remember, this is a very large show. 1.5 to 2 hours +. However, long it takes us to finish it.

Dec. 4 Tour: Early Discounted Registration cost for the tour is $120/person if paid by Nobember 1. No refunds after November 1. Please keep in mind that some people will want to fly, and will be looking for good airfares. The price does not include the ticket. Late Registration Price November 2 and thereafter is $135/person.
